To operate, press down on pedal to activate Distortion; keep foot down on pedal and create Feedback on the notes played. Use the overtone knob to change pitch of feedback. Also if you lift up and press down quickly on the pedal while generating feedback the pedal will give you gradually lower harmonics of the fundamental note, all the way down to a throbbing pulse. Very cool and unlike any other pedal out there. The distortion alone on this pedal is great, slightly thicker than a vintage MIJ DS-1.
